Patient Care Technician

UPMC Western Maryland Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is looking for a casual CNA or Patient Care Technician! This is an as needed position that is required to work at least 36 hours every 6 weeks. The final candidate will be placed in the appropriate title by the recruitment and unit leadership teams. The minimum pay rate for a CNA is $18.59 per hour. Our Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (CIRU) is a Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accredited medical program that identifies the scope and value of interdisciplinary functional rehabilitation services. The CIRU is a unit with 13 private rooms, dedicated to providing collaborative rehabilitative services (OT/ PT/ Speech) for individuals with physical, functional, swallowing, communication, or cognitive impairments. The CIRU uses an interdisciplinary team approach to patient services and provides 24-hour rehabilitation nursing care to all patients.
