Technical Lead - Mobile Applications (Android) - Medical DevicesLocation: Valencia, CA or Santa Clara, CA (100% Onsite), can take relocatorsWe are seeking a hands-on Technical Lead with strong Android mobile application development experience to lead a team of 4-5 engineers supporting mobile app integration and remote-control functionality for medical device products.ResponsibilitiesLead Android mobile application development and integration efforts.Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight for a team of 4-5 engineers.Drive architecture, code quality, testing, scalability, and maintainability best practices.Establish and enhance CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and monitoring strategies.Manage Google Play Store releases and deployment activities.Collaborate with Regulatory, Quality, Compliance, and cross-functional engineering teams.Track delivery metrics, team performance, and operational KPIs.Remain hands-on with design, development, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making.Google Play Store deployment and release management.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Strong expertise in Android application development.4-5+ years of experience in the Medical Device industry.Experience with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) and IEC 62304.Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring engineering teams.Nice to HaveiOS development experience.Cross-platform mobile development experience (Flutter, React Native, etc.).EOE Statement: Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
