Executive Director, Home Health Greater Orlando & Tampa Bay Markets, Florida | Full-Time | Day Shift | On-Site All the benefits and perks you need for you and your family: Benefits from Day One Paid Days Off from Day One Career Development Our client—a Great Place to Work certified, Fortune‑recognized not‑for‑profit health system operating 55+ hospitals across nine states—seeks an Executive Director of Home Health to provide strategic and operational leadership for home health services spanning the Greater Orlando and Tampa Bay markets. Reporting directly to senior division leadership, you will oversee multi‑site operations across 17 locations, including budgeting, business development, quality performance, regulatory compliance, and workforce planning. You will lead a team of clinical and operational professionals with full authority to implement innovative care models, drive top‑quartile quality outcomes, and expand market‑based services. This is not a role where you manage from the margins—you will function as a senior executive at the table, shaping care‑at‑home strategy for one of the nation’s largest and most mission‑driven health systems. The Executive Director Home Health is actively involved in the daily responsibilities of running the agency and is appointed by and accountable to the governing body, acting as a liaison between the agency and the governing body. This individual assumes accountabilities for all aspects of the clinical and business operations and provides an annual report to the governing body. The Executive Director provides leadership and oversight for the coordination of all clinical services involved in providing quality, cost‑effective, billable care that aligns with regulatory standards. The Executive Director is responsible for achieving clinical excellence in outcomes, regulatory compliance, consumer, and employee experience in a fiscally responsible manner. The HH Executive Director functions as the “Executive Director” with Federal and State governing bodies. Where allowed by state regulations, the Home Health Executive Director may also function as the Clinical Manager as defined in CMS Conditions of Participation. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, nursing, or related field. 10+ years of progressive healthcare experience, including 5+ years of healthcare management experience with at least 2 years in home health. Broad knowledge of home health care operations, CMS regulatory requirements, PDGM, OASIS, and Conditions of Participation. Demonstrated expertise in budget management, business development, quality improvement, and executive‑level strategic planning. Proven leadership in matrix‑management environments with strong communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills. Preferred Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Financial management experience with P&L oversight responsibility. Formal process improvement training (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent). Project management and program development experience.
