Job Requirements

• Active North Carolina Nurse Practitioner license and active NC DEA
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required; urgent care, family medicine, adult, and pediatric experience preferred
• Ability to manage high-volume patient care independently as the sole provider
• Board certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset
• Comfortable using Epic EMR for patient visits and documentation
• Must be able to complete required clinical screening, onboarding, and EMR training before the first shift

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urgent care services for adult and pediatric patients
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute conditions in a busy urgent care environment
• Perform common urgent care procedures such as laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other minor procedures
• Work efficiently as a sole provider while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
• Document all patient encounters accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate effectively with support staff to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent service
• Maintain a professional, compassionate presence with every patient encounter
