Azure DevOps Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in the asset management/investment banking space in NYC that is looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Azure, Terraform/IaC, and CI/CD automation.

Summary:
This is a hands-on role within a lean DevOps team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable owning Terraform code, building and maintaining deployment pipelines, and working closely with cloud, infrastructure, application, and security teams. This role is Hybrid 2-3X per week in their Midtown, NYC office.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code
* Build reusable Terraform modules and help standardize a growing IaC environment
* Manage Terraform state, environment configurations, upgrades, and infrastructure changes
* Build and support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
* Automate Terraform validation, plan, approval, and deployment workflows
* Support Azure cloud infrastructure and production deployments
* Troubleshoot pipeline, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure issues
* Partner with security and engineering teams to move projects through deployment

REQUIREMENTS:
* Terraform is a core requirement for this role; Candidates must have strong enterprise-level experience using Terraform to build, manage, standardize, and scale Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across complex Azure environments
* Strong CI/CD pipeline development experience
* Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and YAML
* Strong Microsoft Azure infrastructure experience
* Experience with Git, code reviews, and release/deployment automation
* Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work independently and take ownership within a small DevOps team

Nice to Have:
* GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Harness
* AKS/Kubernetes/Docker
* Ansible and scripting with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Shell
* AWS experience
* Financial services or other regulated-industry experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
