Inspector (AeroSpace)

Seeking a highly experienced Inspector with a strong background in aerospace environments. This role will focus on in-process verification and final inspection using a mix of traditional and advanced measurement tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform in-process and final inspections on precision machined components
• Read and interpret complex aerospace drawings and standards, including GD&T
• Measure features using traditional tools such as height gauges and manual setups
• Utilize portable CMMs (Faro Arm) and optical comparators
• Support and mentor other inspectors as needed
• Program and operate Hexagon Faro Arm
• Maintain high throughput, completing 200 to 400 inspections within a 4-hour period depending on setup

Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of inspection experience in aerospace company
• Experience across 2 to 3 companies preferred to show breadth of exposure
• Strong understanding of machining processes and variable volumes
• Proven ability to work in high-throughput environments
• Portable CMM (Faro Arm)
• Optical comparators
• Height gauges and manual inspection tools
• Keyence vision system (glass plate, camera-based measurement process)
