Jack in the Box Joliet is looking for an energetic and motivated Team Leader / Shift Manager to join our team! In this role, you'll lead a dynamic team to deliver fast, friendly, and quality service that keeps our guests coming back. If you're passionate about people, food, and fast-paced environments, this is your opportunity to grow! Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead team members during assigned shifts to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Maintain food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards in compliance with company and health regulations
- Open and/or close the restaurant, including cash handling, drawer counts, and end-of-shift reporting
- Coach, motivate, and support crew members to meet performance and guest satisfaction goals
- Monitor and manage inventory, food prep, and waste to control costs
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally to ensure a positive guest experience
- Ensure team compliance with Jack in the Box policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Previous experience in a fast food, quick service restaurant (QSR), or food service supervisory role preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math and cash handling skills required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Food handler certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Must be at least 18 years of age
