JOB FUNCTION:
- Greets new patients and visitors
- Verifies and updates patient information in the EHR
- Schedule new and follow up appointments
- Create visits when patients present for services and update demographics as necessary
- Maintains patient medical records such as scanning prescriptions, update information, labs/reports in the EHR system
- Scanning documentation into specific image titles into EHR on a daily basis
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collects co-pays and/or full payments at time of service
- Receipting and posting payments
- Answering phones, checking messages and returning phone calls in a timely manner
- Other clerical duties as needed
