Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to orthopedic patients.
• Assess and monitor patients' conditions, ensuring effective treatment and recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record system.
• Participate in the development of patient care plans and interventions.
• Assist with surgical procedures and follow-up care as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic nursing role.
• Current Minnesota state nursing license (not a compact state).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour schedule).
• Availability to work every other weekend, as required.

Additional Information

Guaranteed hours will be contracted, and adherence to outlined time-off restrictions is required to maintain staffing continuity. Candidates must not reside within 25 miles of the facility.
