Dental Hygienist – Specialty Practice – Salt Lake City, UT

Our organization, established by a dedicated professional, specializes in providing outstanding prosthodontic services within a patient-centered atmosphere. We prioritize clinical excellence, comfort, and the development of lasting relationships with our patients through meticulous and considerate care. We are currently in search of a licensed Dental Hygienist to become part of our team.

For additional information about our practice, please note the following hours:
• Mondays: 9:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesdays: 9:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• This is a part-time role.

• Conduct dental cleanings, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
• Perform periodontal evaluations and maintain accurate charting.
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with established regulations.
• Administer preventive treatments such as fluoride applications and sealants.
• Recognize and report signs of oral diseases to the dentist.
• Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Support treatment plans and recommendations from providers.
• Deliver post-treatment care instructions to patients.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of patient records.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
• Sterilize instruments and uphold cleanliness in the operatory.
• Work collaboratively with the dental team to facilitate smooth patient flow.

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in Utah.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Capability to administer local anesthesia.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and clinical accuracy.
• Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with dental software (experience with Dentrix Ascend is a plus).
• Preferred experience in periodontal therapy and patient education.

• $48.00 – $50.00 per hour, depending on experience.
