Inpatient Physical Therapist

Location: Walnut Creek, CA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Physical Therapist to provide care in an acute care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treating a diverse patient population including Med Surg, Orthopedics, General Medical, and Neurologic cases.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Administer therapy interventions and document patient progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Manage a caseload of 7-9 patients daily.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an acute care facility.
• Current California Physical Therapist License.
• Board certification in California.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be available to work 1 weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday).
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
