Quality InspectorWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector for a temporary role, with the potential to transition into a fabricator position. This is a first shift opportunity from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.ResponsibilitiesMeasure parts using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Operate a laser engraver to etch part numbers onto various metal parts.Interpret blueprints and customer specifications to ensure accuracy in production.Ensure proper alignment and placement of parts for engraving.Follow all safety procedures while operating the laser marker machine.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Assist in other areas of quality production as needed.Essential SkillsExperience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).High attention to detail and precision.Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.Mechanical aptitude.Experience in quality assurance, inspection, and quality control.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with metals and aerospace parts.Good attitude and willingness to assist in other quality production areas.Data entry and data review skills.Why Work Here?This role offers the opportunity to transition to a permanent position after the contract-to-hire period, providing stability and career growth potential.Work EnvironmentWork in a climate-controlled facility, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment year-round.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Statesville, NC.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
