We are growing!! Freightliner-Western Star of Maine is seeking enthusiastic, organized, and hard-working individuals to join our team. Come and join a winning team that extends from Westbrook to Fort Kent. We are looking for a heavy duty parts counter person that will assist the mechanics on the back counter in our newly acquired Fairfield location. Experience is preferred but we are always willing to train the right person . Pay will depend on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Research, order, and add parts to repairs orders
- Answer phone calls and invoicing when needed
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
- Write and comprehend information to fellow co-workers and/or customers
- Solving problems involving several variables in standardized situations
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Correspond with shipping and receiving regarding deliveries coming in or going out.
Requirements:
- Heavy Duty truck experience preferred
- Valid Maine driver’s license
- Positive attitude
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work as a team
- Ability to participate in physical inventory
