About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Cath Lab License: RCIS, RCES, or RT license preferred Certifications: BLS & ACLS certification required Description: This position involves backfilling a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech role for a 13-week contract. The candidate will perform duties in the cardiac catheterization lab. Responsibilities include assisting with interventional procedures. The ideal candidate must maintain calm under pressure and be flexible. The unit consists of two cath labs and is staffed by a team of seven. Patient ratios are typically 1:1 to ensure high-quality care. The equipment used includes Philips Xper FD20 and FD10, Shockwave, and Penumbra. Typical procedures performed include LHC/RHC, cardiomems, and PFO closures. Candidates with experience in interventional radiology or electrophysiology are preferred. The dress code includes hospital-issued scrubs.
