Data Visualization Engineer

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports leveraging Databricks data sources
• Translate business requirements into intuitive, scalable, and user-friendly visualizations
• Optimize performance through efficient data modeling, DAX optimization, and query tuning
• Lead efforts to migrate legacy Tableau/SSRS reports into modern Power BI solutions
• Collaborate with the semantic layer team to ensure consistent data usage
• Establish and enforce visualization standards, governance policies, and best practices
• Ensure dashboards meet performance, scalability, and usability requirements
Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and troubleshooting for production dashboards

Required Skills & Experience
• 5-8+ years of experience in BI/reporting development, with strong expertise in Power BI
• Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
• Experience working with Databricks or cloud-based data platforms
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles for data visualization
• Experience replacing legacy BI tools (Tableau, SSRS) is highly preferred
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
