RN - ICU

ICU Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 3x12 hours from 07:00 to 19:00.

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. This role requires the ability to handle complex clinical situations and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in the ICU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage ventilators and assist with respiratory care.
• Perform arterial and central line management.
• Provide support to patients and families during critical care situations.
• Document patient care activities accurately using Epic.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Float to other units as needed, including CICU.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina at the time of submission.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
