About the Position

Job Title

CT Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Apple Valley, CA | Acute Care Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Variable Schedule (Days, Evenings, Graves) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures in a high-volume, fast-paced acute care environment
• Operate GE and Toshiba CT equipment accurately and efficiently
• Work independently with a 1:1 patient ratio, maintaining quality and throughput standards
• May be responsible for patient transport based on staffing needs
• Document and chart using Epic EMR system
• Commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification and ARRT Advanced certification required
• California CRT license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Must be open to all shift times including graveyard; specific shift requests cannot be accommodated
• Must be available for weekends, which may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler (locals accepted at a different rate)
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of initial submission; post-offer RTO may not be granted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with GE and/or Toshiba CT equipment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Ability to self-schedule and adapt to variable shift rotations based on seniority
