We strive each day to better serve our customers and employees.Position Overview:Candidate must be able to successfully pass a motor vehicle report. Driver will be responsible for driving the Vacuum trucks and Waterblast trucks to and from construction sites. Once arriving to the site, driver will be assisting crew operate truck and tools in a safe manner in wet/dirty environments including confined spaces. Candidate is required to provide proof of completed OSHA 10, or higher, within 60 days of original hire date.Responsibilities and Duties:Responsible for the operation and set- up of Vac and Blast operationsMust maintain equipment, help in operation of equipment, understand ability of the equipment and operate in a safe mannerComplete a vehicle inspection report to assure vehicle and equipment are safe to operate before leaving site.Connect and disconnect hoses, dump/unload materials, clean out truck tank after each useUnderstand different hose types, tips, and set ups.Obey traffic laws and regulationsMaintain accurate driving logsImmediately report all accidents, near misses, and injuries involving employees or others to the Safety Manager or Supervisors on siteAbility to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day (Climb ladders, Bending, twisting, lifting up to 50lbs, and Prolonged walking, standingFollows directions of managers/ lead/superintendent and clarifies responsibility if neededRespects self, co-workers, managers, company, other contractors, and ClientsTakes care of company owned and rented equipment returning in like manorDemonstrates knowledge of basic mechanical of trucks and equipment's and ability to fix basic mechanical problemsGather correct tools needed to perform the task assignedAbility to drive manual transmissionUnderstands appropriate offload proceduresAdditional duties as assignedQualifications:Education and ExperienceBasic math skillsKnowledge of basic tools and their applicationsPersonal CharacteristicsAbility to follow all safe work proceduresAbility to work in various weather conditionsAbility to work in confined spacesAbility to work at above ground elevations while wearing a harness and other protective equipmentGood hand-eye coordinationExcellent communication skillsAdaptable in methods used to complete taskWilling to go the extra mile for the teamMotivated to learn new skills and tradesFollows directions of manager / lead / superintendent and clarifies responsibilities if neededRespects self, co-workers, managers, company, other contractors, and clients.Shows up on time ready to complete workPhysical AbilitiesMust be able to fulfill essential job functions in consistent state of alertness and in a safe mannerMust be able to lift and move up to 50lbs regularlyMust be able to climb ladders repetitivelyAbility to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day, including prolonged standing and walking, bending, and twisting.Ability to complete tasks such as loading, un-loading, cleaning, shoveling, and painting.Ability to safely perform duties related to confined space work.Benefits: Employer Supplemented Health InsuranceEmployer Paid Life InsuranceVoluntary VisionVoluntary DentalVoluntary Critical Illness and Group Injury Insurance401K (Company Match of 3%)Tuition Reimbursement
