Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg with renal dialysis competency in Saranac Lake, New York. This travel-to-temporary assignment starts on 08/24/2026 and runs for 4 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,085 to $2,189 per week. The schedule is four 10-hour day shifts (6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). The role occurs in a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adult medical–surgical patients, with renal/nephrology needs integrated into plan of care
- Perform and monitor renal dialysis procedures; manage fluid balance and electrolyte status; assess patient response and vital signs
- Administer prescribed medications and document interventions, outcomes, and changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, dialysis staff, and unit colleagues, to coordinate comprehensive care
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, respond to changes in clinical status, and escalate concerns per protocol
- Document assessments, care plans, and patient/family education; provide education on kidney disease, dialysis treatments, and treatment goals

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in hand
- 2+ years of RN experience
- Renal dialysis experience REQUIRED; must be competent in renal dialysis
- Ability to work 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on a 4x10-hour shift schedule
- Travel experience preferred
- Eligibility to work in a hospital med-surg environment
