Phlebotomist Float

Location: 2233 Post Street, Suite 105, San Francisco, CA 94115 Work Schedule Monday–Friday, 6:00am to 6:00pm; additional days/hours as needed, including some Saturdays. Job Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain logs of patient and specimen information. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Assist with administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. California state‑issued Phlebotomy license (CPT). Must be at least 21 years old. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications At least one year of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience at LabCorp. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency (if lacking experience). Job Standards Track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments. Pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexible schedule; able to work overtime and cover varying hours, including Saturdays. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Benefits Employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, 401(k), paid time off (or flexible time off), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees working fewer than 20 hours are eligible for the 401(k) plan only. Employees on a 7on/7off schedule receive all benefits except PTO/FTO. Pay range: $23.00‑$33.00 per hour, plus a $1.50 hourly float incentive and mileage reimbursement. Phlebotomists may be eligible for a quarterly incentive bonus based on performance metrics.
