About This Role The Registered Nurse (RN) - Dialysis is responsible for delivering patient care primarily to a geriatric population through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for nurses who are dedicated to providing exceptional care and are willing to work in a dynamic environment. Highlights Pay: $37.67 - $89.54/hour Location: Oak Bluffs, MA Facility: Martha's Vineyard Hospital, Inc. Schedule: Rotating shifts Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 What You'll Do Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel. Document nursing interventions, patient responses, effectiveness, and complications. Develop and communicate nursing care plans to other patient care providers. Implement clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies. Assess, plan, and implement instruction for patients and families regarding dialysis treatment. Report patient care or management problems to the Clinic Manager and/or Supervisor. Perform on-site specific lab testing while maintaining appropriate records. Demonstrate understanding and application of dietary and medication management for ESRD patients. Complete annual nursing competencies and seek opportunities for self-growth.
