Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular

Role Overview A registered nurse with clinical experience in similar settings, practicing independently while demonstrating awareness of comprehensive patient care. Responsible for delivering routine and complex nursing care, managing patient contingencies, and delegating tasks appropriately to care team members. Key Responsibilities Providing nursing care following the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Administering medications and treatments using established protocols, monitoring effects and side effects. Documenting patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided. Assessing learning needs and educating patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and resources. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a related specialty preferred; new graduates considered. Current RN license and BLS certification required; ACLS certification necessary. Ability to attend orientation, complete competency validations, and obtain additional certifications as needed. Experience in critical care setting is preferred but not mandatory. Successful completion of onboarding, competency validations, and adherence to certification timelines are essential.
