The Nursing Resource Pool offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing float only at St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea. We support our employees with focused orientation and training on equipment, processes, and procedures. This makes our float pools a reliable resource for units, enabling more manageable patient ratios. Float Pool colleagues are treated as highly valued team members at Trinity Health Michigan. In the Nursing Resource Pool you could float to any of the units listed below: Atrium East (Med/Surg) Atrium West & Courtyard Rehab (Inpatient Rehabilitation) Courtyard East (Med/Surg) The Registered Nurse provides quality patient‑centered care considering age‑specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They consistently integrate concepts of relationship‑based care into practice and serve as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit. Shift and Status Availability Shift Available: 7pm-7:30am Status: Full time, benefit eligible (72 hours per pay period – every two weeks) Every 3rd weekend and holiday requirements. Required Qualifications Current Michigan Nursing License One year of recent medical‑surgical or higher acuity level nursing experience Graduation from accredited nursing program New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years Canadian Nurses are encouraged to apply About The Chelsea Hospital Chelsea Hospital is a 103‑bed, not‑for‑profit hospital established in 1970, leading the way in patient safety and satisfaction.
