Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Desk in Utica NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location you will serve as a welcoming professional presence for patients visitors and staff. You will manage access monitor activity respond to security-related concerns and communicate clearly while helping create a supportive environment. Pay Rate: $22.40 / Hour

Day Time

08:30 AM - 07:00 PM

08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

08:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following site-specific procedures access protocols and applicable emergency response activities.
• Serve as a front-desk presence greet and screen visitors verify appointments or authorized access and direct individuals to appropriate areas of the healthcare location.
• Monitor entry activity and visitor flow maintain required logs and documentation and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents disruptive situations and critical events in a calm professional problem-solving manner while following established procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of the front entrance and communicating professionally with visitors staff and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
