The right candidate will focus on mealtime safety and patient communication. Key Responsibilities Mealtime & Swallowing Safety: Prepare modified diets (pureed, soft) and thickened liquids. Ensure 90° upright seating, pacing, and monitoring for swallowing safety. Communication Support: Help with speech therapy exercises and communication tools (boards, devices, or simple gestures). General Care: Assist with daily hygiene, mobility, and medication reminders. Requirements 1+ years experience working with swallowing difficulties, stroke recovery, or speech conditions. CPR and First Aid certifications required. Strong understanding of meal thickeners and aspiration prevention. California Home Care Aide License #J-18808-Ljbffr Staying Homecare LLC
