The opportunity

As a manager, you will lead high-impact strategy and transformation engagements for Fortune 500 clients and emerging growth companies. You will be accountable for engagement delivery, quality, team performance and stakeholder alignment while translating complex market, operational and financial insights into actionable recommendations.

This role is aligned to the Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure sector , including telecommunications operators, cable providers, satellite companies, wireless operators, data centers, and adjacent media and technology businesses. Relevant experience serving clients in this sector is expected.

The position can be based in Denver, Colorado , or Philadelphia, PA with a mix of onsite client work and in-office collaboration, and limited travel requirements.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead strategy and business transformation engagements from planning through delivery, with accountability for quality, scope, timelines and outcomes
• Structure complex client problems and oversee market, competitive, operational and financial analyses
• Develop and communicate executive-level insights, recommendations and transformation roadmaps
• Serve as a primary day-to-day client contact and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
• Lead client workshops, executive presentations and decision-making sessions
• Manage multiple workstreams, including project plans, dependencies, risks, issues and resource requirements
• Manage engagement economics, including staffing, budgets, forecasts and delivery performance
• Direct and review primary and secondary research, including expert interviews, market analysis and benchmarking
• Lead, coach and develop junior team members while providing timely feedback and maintaining accountability for results
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and contribute to proposals, pursuits and new business development
• Develop sector insights, points of view, methodologies and reusable assets that strengthen the practice
• Apply innovative approaches, including responsible use of generative AI and emerging technologies
• Contribute to practice growth through recruiting, training, mentoring and culture initiatives

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, technology, engineering or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in consulting, corporate strategy, transaction advisory or business transformation
• Demonstrated experience leading client engagements or major workstreams with accountability for deliverables and results
• Experience managing project teams, resources, timelines, risks and budgets
• Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
• Experience developing executive-level presentations, recommendations and business cases
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Relevant experience in Telecommunications, Digital Infrastructure or an adjacent Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or another relevant graduate degree
• Experience with telecommunications operators, cable providers, wireless businesses, satellite companies or data center organizations
• Experience supporting proposals, pursuits, account growth or other business development activities
• Knowledge of digital infrastructure business models, market trends and competitive dynamics
• Experience applying emerging technologies, data analytics or generative AI to client delivery

• The salary range for this job is:
  • New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices – $171,200 to $285,300
  • Bay Area California offices – $178,400 to $297,200
  • All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento – $142,600 to $261,500
• Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
