What we are looking for
We currently have a 9 year old female client in the Charleston area. She is diagnosed with Rett Syndrome, Autism & stage 4 Kidney disease. This client is non-verbal, can walk with assistance, has wheelchair for long distances, incontinence care is needed, medications & liquids via G-Tube. She has around 1-2 seizures a day. 2 dogs in the home. The schedule is Monday-Friday 3-8pm, Saturdays 12-8pm & some Sundays 2-8pm Flexible!!! 

Who we are Axcess is a home care provider that services children with special needs and disabilities across the state of South Carolina. We are contracted with Community Long Term Care and the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs to provide care to children who qualify for aide services. We are hiring for multiple children across the state so please be sure to check all our listings.

What we do
Our goal is to provide compassionate nursing care to children while giving parents piece of mind during your visit. Each child is unique in the activities they need assistance with but may include :
~ medication administration ~catheter care~ tracheostomy care ~wound care~ ventilator care ~assistance with ADLs~ accompanying parents to appointments and therapies
As a Home Care LPN, you may also be required to assist with light housekeeping and laundry as well . This service is aimed to help the child and the parents/guardians.

Qualifications
To be qualified as a Home Care LPN you must:

1. Have an active LPN license to practice in SC
2. Have one year of clinical experience
3. Annual TB tests; if expired Axcess covers the cost of the test
4. Have current CPR certification; if expired Axcess can direct you to training sites
5. Pass a background ( SLED ) check
6. Pass a drug test
7. Be physically able to provide care to a child with special needs
8. Have a valid drivers license and insured transportation
