Schedule: Shift: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Assignment Details:

Requirements:

• Unrestricted license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP) certification
• At least 2 years of well-rounded RT experience with a diverse patient population
• Preferred: Experience with high-risk deliveries and neonates
• Preferred: NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Preferred: Experience with EPIC
• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform all cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and deliver all modalities of respiratory care from basic to advanced.
• Provide patient care for individuals ranging from newborn to geriatric in various settings, including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient areas.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and related health concerns.
