Qualifications -The successful candidate will be an individual with integrity, committed to public service; -Earned a High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum age 21 years; -Be in e xcellent physical condition; -Hold a v alid driver's license; - Be of good moral character with no felony conviction. Pre-employment drug test, polygraph, physical standards test and psychological test are required if you receive a conditional offer of employment. Nebraska Certified Officer is preferred but is not required. Special Requirements Officers certified in Nebraska will be granted a lateral entry upon completion of Field Training Officer (FTO) program. Candidates certified in other states will be granted lateral entry upon successful completion of Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Centers requirements for reciprocity certification and FTO.
