Think of recruitment as a combination of sales, business development and relationship building. You'll be working with businesses that need specialist technology professionals, helping them find the right people while building your own portfolio of clients. Your day-to-day will involve: Identifying and approaching new business opportunities across the US. Cold calling, prospecting and building relationships with decision-makers. Developing your own client accounts and generating new revenue. Understanding clients' hiring needs and presenting tailored solutions. Finding, engaging and introducing professionals to relevant opportunities. Negotiating, closing deals and managing the process from start to finish. Working towards individual targets and building your own specialist market. Who would be a great fit? Have recently graduated or are approaching graduation. Have around 1–3 years of sales, business development or outbound prospecting experience. Have a background in competitive sport, particularly college athletics. Have experience working towards targets, handling rejection or generating new business. Have a genuine desire to develop commercially and build a successful long-term career. I'm looking for people who are coachable, resilient, competitive, disciplined and willing to put in the work to achieve their goals. You don't need to know anything about recruitment.
