Wound Care Nurse RN
Wound Care Nurse RN Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care Nurse RN to join our team at Berrien Oaks Nursing and Rehab in Nashville, Georgia. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality wound care to our residents, promoting healing, and preventing complications. Wound Care Nurse RN Work Environment:
Typical work hours: 8am - 4:30pm, weekends may be required based on facility needs
Part-time Tuesday, Thursdays, and Fridays
Location: Berrien Oaks Nursing and Rehab, 405 Laurel St, Nashville, GA 31639
Wound Care Nurse RN Responsibilities:
Perform wound dressing changes and maintain accurate records of wound care treatments
Communicate effectively with wound doctors, ensuring timely and effective care
Update resident wound orders and maintain accurate records
Establish a restorative nursing program, including walk-to-dine, ROM, and splinting
Assess, treat, and monitor wounds according to best practices
Develop and implement individualized wound care plans
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate staff on wound care protocols and prevention strategies
Wound Care Nurse RN Qualifications:
Experience in wound care management in a healthcare setting
Must have a valid RN license in Georgia
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
