Aid with movement and placement of patients. Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living. Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment. What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. What Additional Preferences We're Seeking 6:30PM-7AM, self-scheduling with weekend requirements. Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Patient Care Technician (PCT), or equivalent healthcare training program preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required or obtained within the timeframe established by Ascension. One year of patient care experience in an acute care hospital, long-term care, rehabilitation, or similar healthcare setting preferred. Experience assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), obtaining vital signs, patient mobility, and documenting care preferred.
