Registered Nurse - Trauma, Stroke, Chest Pain

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, no on-call required, and no floating to other units.

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in a medical facility specializing in trauma, stroke, and chest pain. The nurse will uphold high standards for patient safety and quality service while working efficiently within a team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Provide emergency response and care for trauma, stroke, and chest pain patients.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and families regarding care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Document patient care and interventions using EMR (MEDHOST).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications (AHA or ARC).
• Preferred travel experience and at least 2 years of nursing experience.
• Strong background in trauma, stroke, and chest pain patient care.
• Current titers must be submitted at the time of application.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
