Job Description
Assists in the planning and execution of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Program for the Wing, within governing directives.
Assists in the management of the Privacy Act Program for the Privacy Act Officer for 12th Flying Training Wing, AFRS, and AETC, and is the staff authority in resolution of Privacy Act matters arising control and dissemination of information.
Responsible for receipt and storage of records. Checks shipping list against "Files Plan" and AFM 37-139, for accuracy and completeness of information.
Provides customer assistance. Analyzes filing systems and recommends changes in structure, location, arrangement, level of maintenance, etc. Interprets files directives for custodians and assists in structuring files for compliance.
Maintains files. Prepares annual schedule of evaluation visits to assigned block of offices of record. Notifies Functional Area Record Manager (FARM) or office of record of impending evaluation.
Uses varied functions of multiple office automation software to produce a wide range of documents, formats, etc. Specific assignments require a varying number and sequence of steps and use of different functions from one assignment to another.
