Position Overview

Zenius Corporation is seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist to provide responsive technical support across a broad range of enterprise IT systems and services. The consultant will troubleshoot user and system issues, support routine maintenance and operational activities, and help ensure technology resources remain reliable and effective across Broward County Public Schools environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for end-user computing, enterprise applications, operating systems, peripherals, collaboration tools, and related IT services.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, access, connectivity, configuration, and system issues through established support and escalation procedures.

• Respond to incidents and service requests, document actions taken, and maintain accurate ticket and support records.

• Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and support desktops, laptops, software, peripherals, and other approved technology resources as assigned.

• Support user account access, application setup, device configuration, software deployment, updates, and routine system maintenance activities.

• Coordinate with help desk, field support, network, infrastructure, application, security, and vendor teams to resolve complex issues.

• Assist users with technology adoption, basic training, and clear communication of troubleshooting steps and resolutions.

• Follow client security, access control, asset management, data protection, and change-management procedures while performing assigned work.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT support, desktop support, service desk, systems support, or closely related enterprise technology support experience.

• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows-based endpoints, common enterprise applications, peripherals, user accounts, and network connectivity.

• Experience working with ticketing or IT service management (ITSM) systems and structured incident/service request processes.

• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users.

• Strong customer service, organization, documentation, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to travel between and work onsite or hybrid at Broward County Public Schools locations throughout Broward County when required by the assignment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Teams, Entra ID/Azure AD, Active Directory, Windows 10/11, endpoint management, and related Microsoft enterprise technologies.

• Experience with ServiceNow or another enterprise ITSM platform.

• CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, ITIL, or comparable technical support certification.

• Experience with endpoint deployment, device lifecycle management, asset tracking, remote support, and public-sector, K-12 education, or multi-site enterprise environments.

Assignment & Compliance Expectations

• Assignment duration, schedule, duties, and work location will be determined by the applicable client request/purchase order and may vary by engagement.

• Selected consultants must successfully complete Zenius and client-required screening before placement, which may include reference verification, criminal background checks, drug/alcohol screening, employment eligibility verification, and client-approved fingerprinting requirements.

• Consultants must maintain professional conduct and comply with applicable client policies while working at client locations.

• This is a consulting/staffing opportunity; assignment availability and duration are contingent upon client needs, selection, and authorization to begin work.
