Our client is currently seeking a qualified Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in Latham, NY and provide end-user support. The ideal candidate is dependable and presentable, the face of the IT department. This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of quarterly extensions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, wireless, and connectivity issues
• Image machines
• Perform standard hardware replacement

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 to 5+ years of experience
• Basic network background
• Proficient in Win11, laptops, and desktops
• Basic Apple knowledge
• Supporting manufacturing division and sales
• Strong customer soft skills
• Certifications are preferred, but not required
• Manufacturing experience is highly desired and ability to work with tools

Wage Range: The rate for this position is between $24.00 - $32.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
