Employment Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an associate attorney for its Employment practice group in Oakland, CA. Duties Represent employers in court, arbitration, and mediations on employment-related matters. Provide legal counsel on human resources management, employment contracts, and employee benefits. Conduct training sessions for supervisors, managers, and employees on employment law. Collaborate with clients to develop tailored legal strategies. Requirements 5+ years of employment law experience. Experience with class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour matters. Knowledge of Federal and California state labor and employment laws. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple assignments. Proficient with MS Office Suite and a Document Management System. Experience with AI tools such as Co-Counsel, Co-Pilot, and NetDocuments. Must work in-office for five days during the first 90 days, followed by a hybrid schedule. Education Strong academic credentials from a top law school preferred. Certifications Admitted and a member in good standing of the California Bar. Skills Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills.
