Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Active Michigan SLP license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred. Experience with dysphagia evaluation and management preferred. Ability to split assignment and travel between two facilities within the region as required by the client. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Days 08:30–16:30, Monday–Friday, 5x8. Assignment Length: 13 weeks. Split assignment between facilities within the Detroit/Ypsilanti, MI region. Floating between sites will be required. Location Highlights Discover Detroit, MI and nearby attractions while on assignment. Downtown Detroit features the RiverWalk along the Detroit River and the historic Eastern Market within a 10–20 minute drive. Belle Isle Park is a waterfront island park about 5 miles from downtown offering trails, an aquarium, and skyline views. The Detroit Institute of Arts and the Motown Museum are cultural landmarks located within the city, each reachable by a short drive or transit. Outdoor options include nearby Lake St. Clair Metropark and access to Huron-Clinton Metroparks with boating and biking within a 30–45 minute drive, suitable for clinicians seeking suburban and urban recreational balance.
