They engage with customers at the service counter and move incoming merchandise out to the sales floor. Cleaning and maintaining proper food safety standards are critical to the team's success. What you’ll do As a fresh food or grocery associate, you will make important decisions about the quality of fruit and vegetables customers eat. Work in our deli and be on the frontlines of customer service—your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. In our bakery—help customers celebrate special moments by preparing and decorating cakes. Work in our dry grocery department and ensure customers find the items they are looking for. Clean shelves and the department in all fresh food areas, check and maintain temperature control, verify dates, and dispose of lower quality food products. Work alongside other fresh food and grocery areas with detailed cleaning, temperature checks, and date verification.
