Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a procedural team that values your skills while working in Cedar Park, TX. Assist physicians and other cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures. Operate advanced imaging and monitoring equipment to capture crucial data on the cardiovascular system. Maintain sterile technique, support patient education, and monitor vitals throughout procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One of the following credentials required prior to hire: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); Cardiocraphic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology (CCI); or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a specialization in Radiography, Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography.
• Experience working in a hospital cath lab environment with catheter-based cardiovascular procedures. Experience with combo Cath Lab, IR, and vascular procedures preferred.
• Experience with Philips Azurion and Allura systems preferred.
• Ability to scrub and monitor multiple modalities as part of a three-person procedural team (2 Techs and 1 RN).
• Call requirement. Candidate must be available for on-call duties as required by the facility.
• State license when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Life Support (ACLS) preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Experience with Mac Lab Hemo system and Medhost EHR preferred.

• Shift hours: 07:00–15:30.
• Shift days: Days.
• Call is required.

As a traveling cath lab technologist, you will support high-quality procedural care across settings. You will contribute to diagnostic accuracy, procedural efficiency, and patient education in acute care environments. Your role will include anticipating case changes, assisting with catheter positioning, and maintaining aseptic technique to protect patient safety.
