Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Oregon

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift available: 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) with variable times for Day/Swing shifts that can range from 07:00 to 01:00.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in operating state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment, including proficiency in performing OB ultrasound. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and team members, demonstrating empathy and compassion throughout patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various ultrasound procedures in a compassionate and professional manner.
• Utilize advanced ultrasound technology, including computer systems and data management tools.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care for patients of all age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
• Document findings in the electronic charting system (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Bachelor's degree in Sonography is preferred.
• Minimum of four years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist with travel experience required.
• Must have BLS certification from the AHA.
• Active Sonography license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) permanent or temporary.
• Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in both Abdomen and OB/GYN.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system is required.
