Dental Assistant - Surgical

Surgical Dental Assistant – ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers Full‑time position. Hourly pay ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 based on experience and certification. As a Surgical Dental Assistant, you will support oral surgeons and prosthodontists throughout dental implant procedures, provide chairside assistance, manage anesthesia, maintain infection control protocols, assist with record management, and help ensure patient comfort and education. Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance during surgical and implant procedures. Anticipate clinician needs and maintain an organized treatment area. Assist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous sedation, and IV sedation procedures. Ensure patient comfort, monitor well‑being, and educate on pre‑ and post‑operative care. Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and surgical trays following strict infection‑control protocols. Take dental X‑rays and prepare materials for impressions, as directed. Assist with medical clearances and patient record management. Support office operations by scheduling, greeting patients, and managing supplies when needed. Collaborate closely with the surgical and prosthetic teams to ensure seamless patient care. Qualifications Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant required. Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements. Strong manual dexterity and precision in handling surgical instruments. Self‑starter mentality with an excellent focus on patient safety and care. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
