Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab/EP Technician to provide specialized support in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures within a high-acuity, high-volume center. The candidate will assist with complex cardiac catheterization, structural heart procedures, and electrophysiology studies, ensuring adherence to all clinical and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including ECMO and cardiogenic shock interventions.
• Operate and monitor Philips cardiac monitoring equipment and EPIC EMR systems efficiently.
• Ensure all procedural preparations, sterilization, and safety protocols are followed accurately.
• Maintain compliance with licensing, education, and background screening requirements before and during assignment.
• Support patient care activities related to cardiac cath lab procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Document procedure details accurately within the electronic medical records system.

Qualifications:

• Hold active license in relevant clinical or technical certification required for cath lab support.
• Possess minimum of 2 years' experience in interventional or diagnostic cardiac catheterization labs.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Philips monitoring equipment and EPIC EMR systems.
• Be ACLS, BLS, and CCI - RCIS certified or qualified for certification.
• Have experience with diagnostic cath, structural heart, EP procedures, and vascular access.
• Be flexible with schedule, available to work 4x10-hour shifts, and able to pass an EKG exam during compliance.
