Quality Inspector

Quality InspectorElliot Industries, Inc (a MacLean Power Systems Company) is seeking a Quality Inspector to assist in task and duties related to quality control processes and ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.This role is Onsite in Bossier City, LA.Starting Hourly Rate: $20.00What You'll DoTest products and services, analyze results and make recommendations for improvementsEnsure products and services meet specificationsUse of required gaging instruments and the application of such instrumentsManage, maintain, rebuild and repair gaging equipment per the standards as needRun and monitor inspection equipment (gages, etc.) to record and analyze quality dataPurchase gaging supplies and equipment's neededUnderstand and ensure regulatory complianceRecommend modifications to standards, methods and proceduresComplete all necessary documents fully and accuratelyAdhere to 5S standards (e.g. maintain cleanliness or work area, etc.)Follow All safety, Environment and Quality policies and procedures.What You'll Need to Excel in This Role3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Handle moderately complex issues and problems, and refer to more complex issues to higher-level staffAttention to detail / detail orientedAbility to read and interpret engineering printsAbility to navigate digital equipmentPerform work under general supervisionCompetencies/Skills:Ability to follow written and verbal directionsIntermediate verbal and written communication skillsAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamProblem-solving skills and Analytical thinking skillsComfortable using Microsoft Office Suite.Total Rewards Offering:Elliot Industries (a MacLean Power Systems Company) offers a competitive compensation package; including a bonus potential based on company performance and a dynamic work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and professional growth.
