Senior Database Administrator

Leading the design, implementation, optimization, and support of secure, high-performing enterprise database environments, the full-time Senior Database Administrator will ensure reliability and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Plan, design, implement, and maintain moderately complex database environments, ensuring security and recoverability Monitor database and server performance, providing analysis and solutions to performance issues Manage the design and implementation of new projects while communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline Strong expertise in MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL Experience with database performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting in complex production environments Familiarity with database programming languages such as PL/SQL and T-SQL
