The role requires frequent, real-time response to equipment-related issues to minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently.Why Join Us?Comprehensive Benefits – Eligible to enroll in medical, dental, vision at affordable ratesSupplemental Benefits – Eligible to enroll in life insurance, Short- & Long-Term Disability, Critical Illness Insurance, Accident Insurance, Death and Dismemberment Insurance, and Hospital Indemnity InsuranceRetirement Savings – 401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off – Holidays, sick time, vacation, and special "Happy Days" for life events available day oneEmployee Discounts – Save on company productsCareer Growth – Opportunities for skill development and advancementWhat You'll Do:Operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of OE tire mounting equipment and production machineryAssist with production line start-up, shut down, changeovers, and general operational supportPerform preventative maintenance on tire mounting machines, conveyors, and associated equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issuesPerform minor to major repair of tire mounting and balancing equipmentPerform minor to major repair of forklifts and other material handling equipmentMinor to major repair of other facility equipment and building systemsMaintain accurate and up-to-date preventative maintenance records for all equipment and facility systemsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentIdentify and implement process or equipment improvements to enhance safety, quality, and efficiencyPerform other duties as assigned to support facility and team operationsWhat You Need:Electrical knowledge and experience with: 120VAC – 480VAC; single and three-phase powerPLC systemsIndustrial machine controlsExperience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systemsStrong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experienceAbility to effectively read and interpret: Equipment manuals and technical documentation Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics Mechanical drawings and machine prints Ability to perform minor welding and fabrication as neededPrior experience in tire, automotive, or manufacturing environment preferredPositive attitude, self-motivated, and ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionFlexibility to work modified schedules as required to support production needsAbility to lift, carry, or move up to 25 pounds regularly; occasionally lift, push, or move 50 poundsDon't let your career stall —put it in drive with Pomp's Tire Service!
