Experienced Personal Injury Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Associate Attorney in Myrtle Beach, SC. This role requires a seasoned attorney to manage personal injury cases, evaluate liability and damages, negotiate with insurance companies, and guide clients through the legal process. Duties Manage a personal injury caseload. Review liability, damages, medical treatment, coverage, and case strategy. Communicate with clients and guide them through the case process. Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers. Prepare cases for litigation when needed. Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and leadership to move cases efficiently. Help maximize case value while delivering excellent client service. Requirements 5+ years of personal injury experience. Experience handling auto wreck, motorcycle, premises liability, dog bite, trucking, or serious injury cases. Strong negotiation skills. Ability to evaluate liability, causation, damages, and case value. Experience dealing with insurance adjusters and defense counsel. Strong client communication skills. Ability to manage a caseload without needing basic training. Litigation experience. Smart Advocate experience is a plus. South Carolina Bar admission required. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admission to the South Carolina Bar. Skills Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to manage and evaluate complex cases.
