Aerospace Engineer

Seeking an Aerospace Engineer to support a commercial aircraft maintenance operation. This role serves as the engineering expert for aircraft repairs, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements. The engineer will work closely with maintenance teams to analyze aircraft damage, develop FAA-approved repair solutions, and help keep aircraft in service. Key Responsibilities Evaluate aircraft structural damage and determine repair solutions. Research aircraft manuals and technical documents to support repairs. Provide engineering support to maintenance technicians during repairs and troubleshooting. Investigate recurring aircraft issues and recommend long-term fixes. Support Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events by identifying root causes and repair recommendations. Create repair drawings, engineering reports, and maintenance documentation. Work with maintenance teams, manufacturers, vendors, and customers to solve technical problems. Support fleet reliability initiatives to improve aircraft availability and reduce maintenance costs. Participate in customer meetings and provide technical expertise. Travel occasionally to maintenance facilities and customer locations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience supporting operational aircraft fleets. Experience evaluating aircraft structural damage and developing repair solutions. Ability to research and interpret aircraft technical manuals, including: AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual) IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalog) CMM (Component Maintenance Manual) Experience creating FAA-compliant repairs and engineering dispositions. Background supporting commercial or regional airline operations. Strong knowledge of aircraft structures, repairs, and fleet reliability. Ability to independently investigate technical issues and recommend solutions. Strong communication skills and experience working with maintenance teams and customers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
