Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active New York State Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient acute bedside physical therapy experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience working with adult patient populations.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting general medical/surgical units and critical care units.
• Prior travel PT experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0700 - 1700.
• Shift Days: Friday to Monday preferred; will consider alternative schedules including Monday & Wednesday through Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday.
• Caseload: Approximately 10-13 patients per 10-hour shift.
• Patient population: Adults only.
• Possible float to other campus locations within the health system.

Impacting Patient Care


Provide acute inpatient bedside physical therapy to adults across general med/surg and critical care units. Deliver evidence-based interventions that improve patient function and discharge outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support efficient patient flow and quality care.
