Hiring for 3rd shift but may be required to train on a different shift.

What You Will Do:

• Operate a variety of production machines including CMM, polish wheel, grinding machines, EDM, etc.
• Read and interpret process sheets.
• Deburr and clean parts.
• Make minor offset changes with oversight.
• Frequently utilize measuring devices and assess product acceptance based on blueprint specification(s).
• Perform preventative maintenance and document results.
• Complete daily walk around and utilize communication log.
• Frequently move about the machine line to operate various manufacturing equipment (approximately 90% of the time). Transport product and/or equipment weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Run all equipment in the entire work loop and produce product at rate per standard work.
• Carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one's skills.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Proficient with use of machine tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Aptitude for mathematics, including ability to read blueprints, read/work from drawings.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• 1+ years of machine operator experience
